I find it so frustrating with instant pot recipes I come across where they have so many steps I could have just used a pot on the stove. Don’t get me wrong I love my instant pot, but sometimes I just want a dump and go meal. This one is that meal and I loved it so much. The consommé gives it a nice rich flavor, the only adjustment it needed was a little red pepper flakes. I added in some mushrooms on top too which we loved.

- No substitutions on the noodles. Frozen noodles must be used for this to turn out correctly.
The amount of liquid after cooking depends a lot on the fat content of your stew beef. If your beef and noodles is too liquidy, you can make a slurry with cornstarch and water to thicken it up. They will thicken up some on their own as the beef and noodles cools to eating temperature.
