Sometimes I make burgers or have leftover meat to make a sandwich with and I don’t need an 8 pack of burger buns. This is a keto recipe, so added bonus it’s healthier. It makes 4 buns, but all depending on how you shape them to your needs you can make 2 larger buns. I thought they where delish and held together really well. You can make ahead of time or while you are prepping dinner, they take 3o minutes and they are ready!

Keto Hamburger Buns

1 1/4 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
2 oz Cream Cheese
1 Large Egg
1 Egg White
1 cup Almond Flour
2 tbsp Coconut flour
1/2 Tbsp Baking powder
1/2 Tbsp Sesame Seeds

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

In a large, microwave safe bowl add the cream cheese and mozzarella cheese. Microwave for 45 seconds and then stir.

Microwave for another 30-45 seconds until smooth.

Next add in egg and egg white and mix with a fork until well combined.

After that combine the almond flour, coconut flour and baking powder into the dough. Then line a baking sheet with parchment or a slipmat.

Use an ice cream scoop to divide the batter into 4 buns, then roll them into balls with your hands.

Place them on the silicone mat and press down gently. Brush the dough with water and sprinkle it with sesame seeds.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until light golden brown.
