Whether you are camping or grilling or just need a quick and easy dessert, this is a super easy one that will have everyone excited. At least in my family we are easy to please with a warm gooey cookie! I used mini cast iron pans since there’s just 3 of us which was the perfect size.
Giant Oreo Skillet Cookie
(Adapted from the Kitchen Magpie)
30 oz tube of pre-made chocolate chip cookie dough
14.3 oz bag Oreo cookies
Take your cookie dough of choice and press into the bottom of the cast iron skillet.
Chop up as many Oreo’s as you can possibly fit onto the top of the dough.
Press the Oreo’s into the cookie dough slightly.
Bake in a 350 degree BBQ, house oven (or trailer oven) for 17-20 minutes, watching it carefully to see when the cookie finally reaches a beautiful golden brown.
Cool and serve.
