My sweet baby girl turned 10 this year. She’s the princess of our family who everyone loves to be around. I found this post I had ready and never got around to posting 2 years ago. This is a great recipe if you have kiddos moving out of the baby jar food stage. Instead of throwing them away I made these super easy dog treats.

Baby Food Dog Treats

(Adapted from Pet Coupon Savings)

1 ½ cups whole wheat flour

2 containers your choice of meat and vegetable combination of baby food

1/4-1/2 cup beef broth (as needed)

1 ½ Tbsp. dried Parsley

 

Pour all ingredients except broth into a small bowl, and mix until thoroughly combined.

Add broth a bit at a time, stirring until consistency is slightly sticky and holds together well when molded in your hand.

Roll into small ping-pong sized balls, place on a parchment lined or greased cookie sheet, and flatten with your thumb.

Bake in an oven preheated to 350° for 15-20 minutes until desired doneness has been reached.

 

Cool and store in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
