Here’s a super easy dinner recipe. A lot of times I’ll even make the marinades ahead of time them toss them in the meat while I’m prepping for dinner. Get as much done ahead of time as you can!

Shanghai Round Steak Marinade

(Adapted from Amazing Sauces)

1 lb flank or round steak

½ teaspoon brown sugar

2 teaspoons white wine

1 teaspoon salt

3 thin slivers fresh ginger

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon soy sauce

 

Cut the steak into ⅛ inch thin strips across the grain.

Combine the sugar, wine, salt, ginger, cornstarch, and soy sauce and pour it over the steak, mixing well.

Cover and chill for an hour, then stir fry the marinated round steak with vegetables.
