Spring Break is here next week! If you are looking for a cool experience, you are in luck, I have some ideas for you!

Of course The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is in full swing and always a good time. We’ve done it for the last 20 years and where looking for something different to do as a family. Kemah boardwalk is always has fun time as well.

The infinite has landed in Houston! If you ever wanted to experience what it’s like in space, this is the must see event! I honestly have never felt like I was transformed somewhere until now! Did you know less than 250 humans have gone to the International Space Station in its 24 years of existence and now it’s your turn!

Before you go in be sure to check out the area around the building we found a couple spots that make great backgrounds for pictures around Sawyer Yards.

You can’t miss which building The Infinite is in with lots of great graphics outside.

Once inside you’ll fill out a waiver if you have a youngster with you and make sure you hand sanitize and have a mask on. Everything is scheduled on time slots and ran very smooth and on time while we where there. Make sure you book ahead of time, because space is limited.

The host goes over some rules and things to expect before your time group goes inside.

Once inside you are instructed to grab a headset and how to put it on along with standing in your party you’ll be scanned in. While you wear the headset your party members are gold and other people around you are a different color so you don’t randomly walk up and grab someone not knowing who is who.

From here you’ll move to the next room and begin your 60-minute immersive virtual reality adventure to the International Space Station and back! You reach out and touch orbs which start playing short clips on the space station. Different times reset everything and you feel like you are floating in the stars.

Towards the end you are told to look for the lighted doorway and heat to a seat highlighted. You sit down and look around at the out side world. Before being instructed to remove the headset and return it.

Next we moved on to Ryoki Ikeda. This was pretty trippy! It’s the universe within the universe. You look up at the ceiling and floor and feel like you are being shot through space.

The next room was a hallway called the Wormhole. Also a super cool place for pictures!

The last spot before heading back into the lobby is The Origin.

Overall I highly recommend checking this place out. They are traveling all over the United States and you can get a 20% discount over Spring Break by using code “SPRINGBREAK” This out of this world virtual experience has been extended until April 17th!
