This has become one of our favoirte steak places around! Mo’s is a chain and you can find them in  a few other major cities. It’s worth a try for sure. Today we came as part of Houston Restaurant Weeks preset $35 dinner menu.

We started out with an Amuse BoucheTuna Poke (Diced #1 Grade Ahi Tuna & Avocado in a Sesame Soy Chili Sauce On Crispy Wonton)

While we waited on the courses we ordered one of our favorite appetizers here which is the calamari $11. Also for drinks we loved the espresso martini $11 and the Dreamsicle $9

For the first course we ordered – Wedge Salad and the Lobster Bisque. Both really good.

Second Course we ordered – Cajun Creole Red Snapper (Spaghetti Squash and Crab Sauce), 6 ounce Certified Angus Beef Filet (Toung Potato Cake, Grilled Asparagus, with Demi Glaze (Upgrade to a Prime Filet – add $10)). I should have known better the fish was ok, but their steaks here are melt in your mouth good. So much for branching out I screwed myself on this one.

We also ordered some extra sides to share – MO’S WHITE CHEDDAR MAC ‘N CHEESE with Chipotle and Bacon $13, RISOTTO Choice of Mushroom, Asparagus, Tomato Basil or Spinach $14. We picked the asparagus rissotto. Both where good, but if I had to order just one it would be the mac and cheese.

Final course the dessert. We love love love the Mini CinnaMO Roll, D wanted to branch out and ordered the Ghirardelli Chocolate Cake. It was rich and dry, I would pass and stick to old faithful!
