I have to say I was excited about this cocktail, but not as pleased when I made it. I expected a little more sweetness and the club soda seemed to water it down some. Overall with a few tweeks I think if would be really good. Maybe heavy cream would also make it a little more creamy as well instead of the half and half.
Cream Puff Cocktail
(Adapted from @nikki.sips)
¼ ounce butterscotch liqueur
1 ounce vanilla simple syrup
2 ounces light rum
2 ounces half & half
Club soda on top
Mini cream puff garnish (optional)
Powdered sugar (optional)
In a shaker combine rum, half & half, vanilla simple syrup and butterscotch liqueur. Shake for 10 seconds. Strain over fresh ice and top with club soda. Sprinkle some powdered sugar and garnish with a mini cream puff.
