I hope you all had an amazing holiday filled with family, friends and lots of love! Eggnog is seasonal and I know it’s a love it or hate it drink. I happen to like it, but it all depends on the brand. Combine that and espresso martini and I’m sold. I have to say I really liked this drink and might have had a few over the break.

Eggnog Espresso Martini with Rum
(Adapted from Nyssa’s Kitchen)

1 dash cinnamon or nutmeg
1 pinch salt
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
3 ounces espresso or cold brew
1 ounce kahlua
1 ounce spiced rum, dark

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously until frothy and well chilled – for 15-30 seconds. Strain into a glass and top with more cinnamon or nutmeg, and a coffee bean or two if desired.

This recipe could also be prepared the same way and served on the rocks.
