I love grilled chicken thighs they are my favorite when it comes to cooking thighs, but I wanted a simple dish to make on busy nights. I have to say we really like how juicy they came out as well as crisping the skin up.
Air Fryer Chicken Thighs
(Adapted from The Gay Globetrotter)
6 chicken thighs bone in, skin on
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped, garnish
SPICE RUB
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt and pepper each
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preheat air fryer to 380°F for 5 minutes.
Pat chicken thighs dry with a paper towel. Brush with olive oil.


Combine spice rub ingredients in a small bowl. Coat chicken thighs.



Place chicken thighs skin side down into a preheated air fryer basket. Air fry for 12 minutes. Flip chicken thighs, and cook an additional 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.




Rest for 5 minutes before serving, garnished with parsley.
