I’m always on the look out for new snacks to send to school that are peanut free, not messy and filling enough to tie him over to lunch. Apex is a new company that created a snack line that truly had health benefits and macros that would fit into any diet plan in the back country of Alaska. High in protein, low sugar, keto friendly, gluten free, no filler ingredients and made with wild game meats, it’s now on the top of my list to get.
Apex Protein snacks are available as bars, bites, biltong, or sticks. Flavors include: Kansas City BBQ, Jalapeno and Cheese, Teriyaki, Jalapeno flavor, and original! Check out all of their items HERE.
The whole family has enjoyed testing out the Kansas City BBQ flavor. The boys went on a boy scout campout recently and raved about how the sticks kept their energy level up with full days of hiking and biking. While other kids are eating sugary treats and crashing, my boys didn’t have any attitude issues from sugar crashes or complaining about wanting more snacks.
Christmas is right around the corner so if you can’t figure out what to get, I recommend checking out these snacks and stuffing your stockings with them. Who doesn’t love getting food?
I can say this is one product we’ll be keeping on hand in and in our backpacks!
