I really loved this recipe! I made it last weekend for Cinco de Mayo since usually at our dinner clubs we drink a lot of wine I didn’t want to make a heavy margarita so this was perfect. I’ll be making these this summer to sip on by the pool for sure!
We changed up the recipe a little from below to make it more practical. I did a full blender of ice, half a can of lemonade concentrate and eye balled the rum to our liking. It made it a little easier then measuring the items out.
Frozen Lemonade with Coconut Rum
(Adapted from Myrecipes)
1 1/2 cups ice cubes, crushed
3 tablespoons frozen lemonade concentrate
2 tablespoons coconut rum (such as Malibu)
Lime wedge (optional)
Place ice, concentrate, and rum in a blender; blend until slushy. Garnish with lime wedge, if desired.
